i just got home from work so i couldnt reply to the post...i honestly had no desire to fade this movie under...similar to MV last weekend (even though MV did go under 27 and was a nice middle)....i think the potential for TN to break out and hit 39 and 40 is too great...especially after it was bumped 400 theatres to 3800...that was the key piece of info i was waiting on...that and the unique situation where TN was up against bascially nothing this weekend...pirates could slide into 2nd this weekend with a take of around 13m....vice will do 12 or 13m ditto for barnyard and descent...
having said that, id woulda agreed with 3D...if you were gonna go low hoping it lands in the 35-39range...you woulda been better off taking the highest # available under...that being the 38.5....
